Apple is being very generous this year. That is just a testament to what a glorious company and brand it is.
Firstly, FaceTime would be an open software. This means that Apple is trying to prove that it is the industrial leader of the manufacturing of smartphones. Well, I guess that is good because then calling would be revolutionized.
Secondly, iOS 4 (fomerly iPhone OS 4) is free to all iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone users. Of course, there will be limitations because of the hardware issues the older models face.
Of course, some would say Apple is being slightly arrogant here. However, it is quite true that it is the industrial leader. Which other smartphone has the capability to have 324 ppi and an Apple A4 core?
I am starting hate Apple videos because they all end with the Apple sign on a white background. In addition, the WWDC 2010 Keynote was freaking funny because time and time again, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, had to request people to switch off their Wi-Fi capable products because it was messing with his demonstrations. Of course, since he commands such respect and with the stake of demonstrations disappearing into thin air, the audience obviously started switching off. This is probably one of the funniest Keynotes so far, besides the April 2010 one, where he demonstrated his Tap Tap Revenge 3 skills. Well, unfortunately, the Keynote is two hours long and is rather boring at the start because it gives you market statistics (as usual). As usual, Steve Jobs saved the best for last, with the "One more thing..." thing.
The essential stuff, iOS 4 will be seeded to all for free on 21 June. While iPhone 4 would be in Singapore (given no hiccups), by end July (mentioned in the Keynote). Those who are desperate for it, please fly to the nearest country, Japan, that would have in June. Interestingly, Apple is rolling off a new product at an unprecedented rate. Eighty-eight countries by September. A whole lot faster than the iPad.

The iMovie app isn't free! It costs $5 dollars...
In addition, FaceTime is only applicable to iphone4-iphone4 calls. Kind of reminds me of the M1 free call offer to three other M1 customers thing. That really limits it. Also, who else would use an Apple processor but Apple itself?
The new zoom feature is nice though
