The Mid-year Examination results are out. Unfortunately (for our class and school), the results can and are considered to be dismay and disappointing. Apparently, no one in the class got a single digit for L1R5.
However, do not lose heart as this is only the beginning. Do keep in mind that the end goal of this year is the O-levels in November. So, study and practice hard. After O-levels, we can all play hard.
Do not forget that there is SPA for the pure Science students. Do note that pure Science students are required only to turn up for your shift only. Please do check with the Science department if you want to be absolutely sure or you can come early. Unfortunately for Combined Science students, go to school at the usual timing.
For people planning to use the DSA option, the DSA forms to ACJC are up the ACJC homepage. Please submit as soon as possible.
For people taking the O-level Mother Tongue examination on May 31, please do check your register numbers that have been pasted on the board. If I am not wrong the first four digits are 2946. The next four digits range from 0218 to 0250. Please await confirmation for this and I will generate a list as soon as possible. This list would be sent to you via your student mail.
For those approaching one hundred CIP hours, please sign up with Malcolm for the appropriate flag days.
Please do not forget to complete the writeup for yourself for the school graduation certificate by June 2. In addition, I raise this question to Office and iWork users. Does anyone know how to make double spacing for words and fullstops and single spacing for commas automated?
Do not forget that this Saturday, the Pure Science students will have compulsory Chemistry remedial. It will start at 1100 and please refer to the mail sent by Mr. Alex Lee for further details.
Here's one to those going to East Lansing for the OM World Finals, on behalf of the administrators and the class, good luck. By the way, Gerald and Darien, I still demand my Starbucks.
Live long and prosper.
